About Midwest Free Community Papers

Midwest Free Community Papers (MFCP) is a free community paper association. MFCP has over 120 member publications that boast a combined circulation of over 2.7 million households throughout the Midwest.

Founded in 1955 and now known as the Midwest Free Community Paper association, MFCP exists to help its members with every aspect of their publishing business.

We achieve this through networking, annual conferences, virtual and onsite training, regular publisher calls, a robust display and classified ad network, free special section content, CVC audits and so much more.
